Clinical volunteer slots appear only on events that are published as Care Action Network Verified.
3. Apply through CAN
Your application and professional profile are shared with the event host.
4. Host confirms eligibility
The organization providing care makes the final decision on credentials, scope and assignment.
CAN is a connector, not a credentialing body. A CAN Verified event has passed CAN's event-review workflow. It does not mean CAN has granted clinical privileges to volunteers. The host organization remains responsible for confirming licensure, credentials, supervision, insurance and scope before clinical service.
